tera wo khawbeeda lehja …
aur jazboo’n ki gehraee mey doobey lafz
mujhey aasmaa’n ki uunchaee tak ley jaatey hein
hawa key doush pey mujh ko uuratey hein,
sang ley jaatey hein
teray khawboo’n ki nagri tak
jahan her suu muhabbat k phool khiltey hein
jahan her pal chahat ki qous-e-qazah bikharti hey,
magar agley hi pal main apni dunya mey laut aati hoon …
khawboo’n sey haqeeqat ka safar
pal mey bitati hoon …
jo undekhi zanjeer in qadmoo’n mey
khud main ney daali hein …
mujhey khud sey bhi piyaari hein,
faqat ik chah hey meri …
k meray aur teray in saarey jazboo’n ko
bas ik naam mil jaey …
kisi khubsurat rishtey ki in pey muhur ho
dhund na koee rastey mey .. na koee kuhar ho,
tanha tanha ..bikhrey bikhrey
yey jo lafzoo’n key moti hein
ik atot bandhan k dhaagey mey jurr jaein,
dourahey pey khadey hum do raahi …
ik rastey pey murr jaein,
phir wohi khawbeeda lehja ho …
aur wohi khawboo’n ki nagri ho,
