| How long should you be engaged before you get married? Hello Everyone , it got me thinking ... so i thought i should know what everyone else think about this so here is this questions for you.... How long should you be engaged before you get married?.. any personal good/bad experience about it can be said here as well... just be true and open in ur opinion.... :)

Assalam u Alaikum As per my knowledge regarding ingagement, this type of no item is in islam u can say "Ghair Sharei" and in the islam only Nikkah so y ur so confuse when it is not in islam just leave it. ok Allah Hafiz |

but now a days people on one side dont want to lose good 'rishta' and on other hand they want time for arrangements and stuff... and some times just dont want the marriage to happen so soon... so they have created this engagement thing... anyways im not littery confused because im not getting married or engage i was just wondering.... but thanks for ur reply..... :)

in my opinion hmm .. 4 - 6 months is jst the right time .. but if there is any prob. in tht u can go on for an year .. but not more than tht ....... thn it would b a bit 2 much ....
