announcement of Pakistani squad for ODI's

Shahid Afridi, Sohail Tanvir and Imran Nazir have been recalled to the Pakistan squad for the first three ODIs against South Africa, at Lahore and Faisalabad, starting on October 18.

The players have been named as part of a 15-man squad, with four players missing out after the Test series. Inzamam-ul-Haq, the former captain, has retired, while Taufeeq Umar, Danish Kaneria and Faisal Iqbal have also been overlooked.

The three returnees all starred in Pakistan's World Twenty20 campaign in South Africa last month, where they were beaten by five runs in an epic final against India. Tanvir, with his unorthodox left-arm action, was one of the bowlers of the tournament along with Afridi, while Nazir's 59 from 41 balls in the semi-final was instrumental in the defeat of New Zealand.

Squad 1 Shoaib Malik (capt), 2 Mohammad Yousuf, 3 Younis Khan, 4 Shahid Afridi, 5 Salman Butt, 6 Mohammad Hafeez, 7 Imran Nazir, 8 Kamran Akmal, 9 Misbah-ul-Haq, 10 Mohammad Asif, 11 Umar Gul, 12 Rao Iftikhar Anjum, 13 Yasir Hameed, 14 Abdur Rehman, 15 Sohail Tanvir.

Hope they work together like T20 W.cup.
