iss qadar mai qarabat kai qaabil nahi thee



Unhon ney uttha ker falak per bithaaya
mai aesi bhi chahat kai qaabil nahi thee



Naa thi dil ko merey sukoon sai rasaaii
mai unki mohabbat kai qaabil nahi thee



Ada aeysee kiya thi, kai dunya l'uta dee
mai itni sakhawat kai qaabil nahi thee



Bana ker mujhey devi uss nai ki pooja

Sanam iss ibaadat kai, mai qaabil nahi thee



Meri maang uss nai chaand taaron sai bher di
mai iss chaah o ulfat kai, qaabil nahi thee



Aap they muntazir rah mai palkein bichaey

sach hai mai iss mahoorat kai qaabil nahi thee



Jo jannat milee ab tou, rotaa hai yeh dil!
Mah, itni inayat kai, mai qaabil nahi thee
