KARACHI: A member of the Rabita Committee of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Saleem Shehzad, has said that Pakistan was surrounded by extreme dangers, therefore all political and religious parties should set their differences aside and play their role for the sovereignty of Pakistan.

He said this during a gathering of leaders of the Tooting unit of the MQM. The people belonging to the Memon community living in London joined the MQM on the occasion.

According to a press release issued from the London secretariat, Shehzad was of the view that the increasing religious extremism in Pakistan had encircled the country and if all political and religious parties did not leave their differences aside then the country could face an excruciating loss.
