Ay Arz-e-Watan..


Mere har laafz mai moazmair hai Mohabbat teri
kaisay keh dhoo kay mera harf-e-sukhn jhoota hai
jab bhi aaya hai koi zakhm tere seenay per
Ay watan! teri qaasam badan mera toota hai

Tere aangan mai na utthray koi surah aisa
apni saanso mai jo gum zard shoaaye rakhe
tere maathay ka ujhaala jo lahoo kar jaaye
apni mitthi mai khuda aisee hawaain rakhe

Tere soobay, tere qasbay, tere saaray gaahwho
Dehrr mai paaye sitaaro se bhi lambhi ummray
teri Aazmat, tere pindhaar kee qasmay kaa ker
tere shehro mai utherthee rahay ujhlee kirnay

Farz ho jaatee hai jab teri hifazat mujh per
jism ko Aaahnee deewaar bana laita hoo
Aman mai mera qalam naram golho ka saaya
jhang mai soch kee deewaar bana laita hoo
