024 How To Cook

Yellow Rice


Ingredients


- 1\4 cup olive oil
- 1 small Onion, sliced
- 1 tsp. Garlic, minced
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 1 1/2 cups Chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon Saffron
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Parsley, chopped

1.Wash the rice and soak in plenty of water for about 1 1\2 hours.
2. Heat the oil in a heavy based saucepan. Add the onion and garlic and cook until just soft.
3.Toss in the rice and cook for 3 minutes, stirring frequently. Add the broth, saffron, and parsley.
4. Cover and reduce the heat to low. Cook for 15-18 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed.
5. Fluff with a fork before serving.
Serve with Raita.

koi mujhay golgapay ki recipe dai dai main ne aik dafa kahi se copy ki thi or meraa irada tha kai banao gi zaror par comp ki reinstallation main mera folder hi or gaya

Gol Gappay 2

Cooking time: As Required
Ingredients :
Gol Guppay:
1 cup white flour (maida)
1/2 cup sujji (semolina)
The dip:
Red chili powder to taste.
1/2 bunch fresh mint leaves
1 heaped tsp zeera
Salt to taste
1 pinch black salt (kala namak)
2 glass Water
2-3 green chilies
1/2" piece fresh ginger or 1/4 tsp grinded.
1 tbs Tamarind paste
1/2 tsp Ajwain

Method:
1-Mix the white flour and sujji and kneed into a hard dough.
2-Flatten into a VERY thing sheet and cut into 2" diameter circles with a cookie cutter. Deep fry until golden.
3-Grind all the ingredients for the dip together and strain. Keep the liquid that strains through.
You can either have this dish plain or you can boil some chickpeas and potatoes and stuff them into the Gol Guppa.
4-There are several other variations as well. You can add Imli chutney and yogurt as well.
