phir bhi tere dewano ke shohrat kitni hai!
suraj ghar se nikal chuka tha kirnain tez keya
shabnam gul se poch rahi thi"MOHLAT KITNI HAI"! 
bemaqsad sab log musalsal bolte rehte hain
shehaar mai dekho sanatay ki,dehshat kitni hai!
lafz to sab k ik jesay hain,kesay baat khulay?
duniya dari kitni hai or chahat kitni hai!
sapnay bechnay Aaa to gaye ho laikin dekh to lo
duniya k bazar may un ki qeemat kitni hai!
dekha gazal ram khurda ki pheli ankhon mai
hum kesay batlaye dil may wehshat kitni hai!
eik adhora wada us ka,eik shakista dil
lut bhi gaye to shehar-e-wafa ki daulat kitni hai!
may sahil hon AMJAD or woh dariya jesa hai
kitni duri hai dono may , qurbat kitni hai !
