| LAHORE: A delegation of the International Cricket Council (ICC) will arrive in Lahore on Thursday to review the arrangements of holding the ICC Champions Trophy in September this year.
The ICC team will visit Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi for reviewing the arrangements of the tournament.
Pakistan will host the ICC Champions Trophy from September 11.
The ICC team consists of event manager Chris Tetley, sponsor manager Errol Stewart, ICC pitch consultant Andy Atkinson, communication manager Samiul Hasan and general manager commercial Campbell Jamieson.
The team will have a meeting with the officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in Lahore on Friday.
This is to be recalled that an ICC team came in last November for inspection regarding the holding of the ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan but returned home after the emergency was imposed in the country.
Pakistan will play the inaugural match of the tournament against the West Indies. One of its semi-finals will be played in Karachi and the other will be held in Rawalpindi while the final will be played in Lahore.
Sri Lanka has been kept substitute host of the ICC Champions Trophy considering the security situation of Pakistan.
